Preventive Health Checks Instructions
- Reporting Time: 8.00am to 9.00am.
- Duration: 4 to 5 hrs approx., depending on the package taken (Breakfast will be served to you at the centre).*
- Discussion and Report collection: after 2 days or would be couriered to the desired address.
- All patients will be provided with special clothing & footwear. Tennis shoes will be provided for the Stress test.*
- Fasting guidelines: Do not eat any food or drink tea, coffee, juices etc. for 10 to 12 hrs prior to the reporting time. ONLY WATER AT ANY TIME & ANY QUANTITY IS ALLOWED THROUGHOUT THE FASTING PERIOD.
- There is an alcohol restriction for 24 hours prior to your appointment.
- It would be preferable if you could collect urine and stool samples from home & bring them along with you in the kit provided.
- If you are wearing semi soft contact lenses please remove / do not use them for 48 hrs prior to date of check up. For soft lenses avoid use for a period of 12 to 24 hours only. Also if you are using any reading glasses please carry them with you.
- If you are consuming any regular medications eg. for blood pressure, diabetes, etc. please do carry either your prescription from your family doctor or consultant or the medicines itself.
- No medications should be consumed on an empty stomach. You can take them after breakfast at the centre; the co-coordinator will assist you.
- If you have any previous medical reports / health records you may carry it with you for a comparative study.
- If you are enrolled for a package which includes stress test and are taking BETA - blockers for heart complaints (Tab Atenol, Tab Carvediol, etc) it has to be stopped for 48 hours prior to the check up date as it interferes with the test results. You may consult your own doctor for an alternative drug.
- Full payment has to be made at the end of the check up either by cash, cheque (payable locally) or credit cards.
- All corporate clients are required to carry an authorization / credit letter from the respective company.
